Precautions
Common precautions for [A], [B] and [C]
*Extracted teeth that can be accepted: The teeth that we can accept are limited to those extracted at partner dental clinics, with healthy dental pulp, and not used in the biting process. Teeth that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.
*Please pay the cost of examinations and tooth extractions separately at the dental clinic.
*The costs of cell cultivation and transportation for treatments using stored tissues and stem cells (and the costs of the treatments themselves) will be borne separately by the customer.
*Contract renewal: We will send you information about contract renewal at least two months before the expiration of your current storage period. You can then choose to either renew or cancel your storage contract.
Precautions regarding [A. Dental Tissue Bank]
*About the service: [A. Dental Tissue Bank] only accepts stand-alone contracts and cannot be used in conjunction with B or C.
*Depositing deciduous (baby) teeth: In the case of deciduous (baby) teeth, the root of the tooth is often in an open state, so in principle pulp tissue is not collected, and the tooth is stored with the pulp tissue left inside the tooth. It is therefore not possible to return the tooth (crown).
(In the case of a standalone contract, [B. Dental Pulp Stem Cell Bank] may be able to return the tooth.)
*Use in regenerative treatment: If you sign a new contract with [B. Dental Pulp Stem Cell Bank] and [C. Dentin Bank] after the termination of this contract, and process deposited dental tissue into pulp stem cells and dentin tissue, they can be used for pulp regenerative treatment.
*Withdrawal from [A. Dental Tissue Bank]: The contract with [A] will be terminated at the time of withdrawal of either dental pulp tissue or tooth material (or when a new contract with [B] and/or [C] is signed after the termination of the existing contract).
If you wish to continue to store tissue after the termination of the contract with [A], it is necessary to sign a new contract with [B. Dental Pulp Stem Cell Bank] in the case of pulp tissue, or [C. Dentin Bank] in the case of dentin.
In this case, please note that storage costs will not be refunded, even if the storage period for [A. Dental Tissue Bank] still remains.
*Cultivating dental pulp stem cells from dental pulp tissue: Please note that cell culture may not always be successful. Even in such cases, we are unable to refund collection fees, storage fees, and storage renewal fees incurred up to that point.
Precautions regarding [B. Aeras Bio Dental Pulp Stem Cell Bank]
*Eligibility for refund: Depending on the degree of tooth decay and the results of cell culture, it may not be possible to store dental pulp stem cells in the bank. If dental pulp stem cells are not stored, collection and storage fees will be refunded.
*Return of deciduous (baby) teeth: In the case of a standalone contract with [B. Dental Pulp Stem Cell Bank], it may be possible to return the remains of baby teeth after dental pulp stem cell separation. If you wish us to return baby teeth, please let us know in advance.
Precautions regarding [C. Dentin Bank]
*Using this service: [C. Dentin Bank] storage is an optional contract for [B. Dental Pulp Stem Cell Bank] and cannot be signed separately. We do not accept standalone contracts for [C. Dentin Bank].
*Eligibility for acceptance and refund: If the weight of the crushed tooth material is less than the specified weight, it will not be stored in the bank. If dentin is not stored, collection and storage fees will be refunded.
